Why do we segregate so much, please, don't get me started on this very very general and hard to argue topic; this one is specific to a subculture and a generation on their way out the door.
What do you envision when you retire? Was it being bathed, having your diapers changed and being told where to be at what times? I know I'm hoping for euthanasia before then.
Seniors are taken on day trips all the time and cooped up in doors even more. Tell me they wouldn't be excited to go out more often.
Where would they go and what would they do? Why would I be the one talking about this?
Stan lee is 91 years older what he was when he was born. I don't call him old because I have never been aware of someone like himself at such an age. The man started it all, marvel universe which obviously came after DC but the two have a very distinct difference and that is what draws me to appreciate marvel a little but more.
So the point in getting at is this, why do we never include seniors in pop culture?
I think you see where I am going with this but you are missing the overall vision, and if you jump to the Heros blog section, you may be surprised :)
For this post though, I'll leave it at this and hopefully you kind of got the idea of how inclusion is a mandatory tool to success.
