Disney

DO NOT! I Repeat parents, DO NOT, allow your kids to take up the values of women and men portrayed in the old Disney cartoons. It is not so bad anymore since all the racism and sexism has been brought to light but nevertheless! When it comes to anything that you or your child becomes deeply connected to, always take a step back and try to see the forest for the trees.

Disney is or least in the past, has been...

1. Sexist
2. Racist
3. Anti-Semitic
4. Promoted bullying
5. Been accused of adding subliminal sexual content
6. Accused of terribly acting
7. Having beautiful real life renditions of cartoon characters
8. Portraying real life cartoon character renditions as mutes, depressing.
9. Not having a castle actually made of candy
10. Taking over marvel -_-

How is Disney sexist?

Ever seen a woman empowered in one of the old cartoons, didn't think so, although there was Mulan and Anastasia, buttttt didn't they both need a man to help them see their full potential and did they both not need to prove themselves in a patriarchy meaning, were they not just on a journey to prove a point to a man? See, yes they may have been empowered but why did they need to be empowered? Well because they were living under a patriarch. Anastasia actually had to prove who she was, to men, and then they didn't even believe her a one point. Both of these girls also had scary old men as enemies. What about the hunchback of notre dame!? Forgot about that one eh? Well what about that one, ya sure the damsel in distress was Quasimodo and ya a girl helped him out, ya there was a male enemy that needed to be defeated, BUT why was there so pretty boy joker who sava both of them pretty much and walks away with the girl in the end? Quasimodo just should have hill smashed pretty boys face in and be like "dude, hard block, not cool!"  Ariel had a witch as an enemy but it was not Ariel who saved herself or killed the witch.

Who saves these ladies?

Men do, stereotypically good looking burley men save these ladies. Why they do this in disney movies is simply understood as rescuing the damsel in distress. Lady is in trouble and she needs saving. Ya but Meg from hercules! She said "yes, I am a damsel, yes I am in distress, but I don't need to be saved, I got this" (paraphrasing) then hercules is his regular shy and timid self but then is forced to fight the centaur groping meg. Now in reality, there are girls who claim they are being taken advantage of or act don't want "joe the jerk" getting all close to her and what not, but then (and to this day it still pisses me off that girls do this) get even more pushy yet flirty with the guy and instead of walking away they endorse the behaviour, when you talk to then later, you get "ya joe the jerk, he is disgusting and rude, wouldn't leave me alone, etc." you just shake your head and wonder where she is gonna learn self esteem. Anyways, the point I'm making is, that women are constantly objectified in disney films, or subjected to some sort of lesser being paradigm in a patriarchal culture.

How does disney portray racism, anti-semitism and what not?

Easy! Ever listen to the lyrics of Aladdin? No, well you will now lol so bad! And how do they portray the people where Aladdin lives, then take a close look, where does he live again? Why do they all look the way they would in the Middle East and he is white!? Get out! Same with jasmine lol

In most disney movies, that don't include animal based films or pure voice overs by African American actors or musicians, are there many coloured characters or even major characters, not including the recent "frog Princess" or whatever. Yes it doesn't count because I am saying in the past they were bad, they have cleaned up their act, no pun intended :p

The voices in the jungle book, listen closely, look at who the vulture's voices are as well as their characteristics. Looking at the lion king, how do they portray the lowest of low (hyenas) think about the voices carefully and the actions of hyenas.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse if I have not convinced you to look more into via YouTube videos or actual websites. You need to open your eyes...unless you just don't care, then, well, whatever amigo.

Ciao for now,

Sodium Chlorite

OMG! Ew. Stay away from it, that is all.

It is in tanks we are waning and preping for fiber glass, but when it is being washed out if grabs into the water and floats in the air, even the fumes are like, ugh frik!

Apparently it is used for sterilization in meat factories but ya...stuff burns your eyes, almost similar to onions but with a more chemical like feeling...ouch.

Ciao for now.

Women and sports.

Let me stop you right there. Crazy feminists, gosh, I'm writing alongside your thoughts so don't even get all nitty natty at the title before you read the article. Holy tamoli! Like hounds, people wonder why the media and gender in education course was such a target for me. People just can't wait to hear what is going to be said, and yes people, as in human beings, as in all people of every shape and every size, every colour and every belief; so quick to draw your weapon yet I come in peace.

So! As I was stating...women and sports has always been one of those neglected or underestimated topics. Women have just as much capability at playing sports as men; and women sometimes even play harder because they have something to prove.

I'm going to say something, if uo don't like it, bite me but it's science and fact! Women are usually at a biologically greater disadvantage when playing sports against men. This is not true in all cases but realistically speaking of the masses, let's think about this. Many factors play into this and many actors have been changing over the years so in going to write this as accurately as possible based on previous reading and observation.

That is one thing I absolutely despise about writing articles or posts of this nature, you need to be politically correct and if you can't be, you need to thoroughly explain the things you say or ppffftttt, good luck climbing out of that hole. Especially being. Heterosexual, white, middle class male....ppfftttt no one of any sort of minority or marginalized group wants to hear what I have to say because I physically cannot relate. I don't care what you say or how you say it but emotions are also apart of science, emotions are universal, the gravity of them in situations is not, but sadness and insult are something everyone feels, the contexts in which we feel then is the determining factor.

Well now that you have completed my sensitivity training and you understand that I mean no harm, in going to write this how I would say it if I was explaining to someone close to me, so bite me, you been warned.

Women do not get much; if any tv spots on sport networks. Television sporting networks are overrun by the latest trades and games. It was actually so neglected that even on the slowest sports news day, women still only got a weaker (much weaker amount of tv exposure) than men. This is not even talking about the stats documented in article in a study that was done over 100 straight hours or so of television being watched while the channel was on the sporting networks. This expanded to four different networks. Guess which was the most negligent towards women's sports? Three somewhat local networks and sports centre, just guess? I guess unmade it pretty obvious, but ya, SC!

The article I read even talked about how, okay, actually, question for sports fans:

How many female sports news anchors are you familiar with? How much tv time do they EVER get compared to the makes? Exactly. Don't know and an even bigger don't know. No, no, no sports fans, don't say oh well I think; well maybe...no! You know it's true. It's a man's world, kinda...

Anyways! So ya, something else to think about, when they do cover women's sports, how much footage, interview time  and overall general mention do they get? Oh buddy! You don't know? Let me tell you, next to none.

One occasion a woman had a long, well longer interview than usual, was sable, the wwe (back then, wwf) wrestler. They visited her on a shoot for playboy magazine I believe and instead of focusing on her career and what not, they remarked on her sexuality...pretty much the entire segment. Bold, cause she probably could have beat the heck out of the reporter lol

Another time a woman had record week long mention was an athlete who lost her shirt during the sport and that is exactly why she was mentioned for that long; she was mocked and degraded by reporters and anchors saying that she would be great at commercially advertising women's sports bras, etc. I'm all for jokes and poking fun once in awhile, but she is a career athlete, surely the time allocated to mentions and jokes of her could have been a little more encouraging.

I could go on, start talking about sports illustrated and say that women are more known for their bikini slots in that magazine than they are for the athletes featured in them, women specifically, sometimes even guys though. I know next to nothing about sports magazines other than that you get a lot of personal lives and careers of athletes, etc. but I better know the magazines for their infamous bikini issues. I feel bad saying that, but then again, I mean sports is just not something that interests me like comics or girls do.

Anywho. Rant over. Stay mindful of those women boys and recognize their talents as well as their beauty. The only thing more attractive (to me at least) than a beautiful woman, is a beautiful woman that I can speak with.

Ciao for now,

Inclusion

The more the merrier, isn't that what they say?

Why do we segregate so much, please, don't get me started on this very very general and hard to argue topic; this one is specific to a subculture and a generation on their way out the door.

What do you envision when you retire? Was it being bathed, having your diapers changed and being told where to be at what times? I know I'm hoping for euthanasia before then.

Seniors are taken on day trips all the time and cooped up in doors even more. Tell me they wouldn't be excited to go out more often.

Where would they go and what would they do? Why would I be the one talking about this?

Stan lee is 91 years older what he was when he was born. I don't call him old because I have never been aware of someone like himself at such an age. The man started it all, marvel universe which obviously came after DC but the two have a very distinct difference and that is what draws me to appreciate marvel a little but more.

So the point in getting at is this, why do we never include seniors in pop culture?

I think you see where I am going with this but you are missing the overall vision, and if you jump to the Heros blog section, you may be surprised :)

For this post though, I'll leave it at this and hopefully you kind of got the idea of how inclusion is a mandatory tool to success.

Never stop learning.

It is so important in life to constantly feel ambitious about what you can do and the limits of your knowledge.

In all seriousness, no one wants to be a student for life, but in reality we are. The very simple act of waking up each morning is signifier that we have began the day ready to learn something. Yes something's we can learn or be in to he process of learning over and over and over again. Example: "ugh, I won't drink that much before work again!" Then we proceed to do the opposite and drive that same amount if not more, the night before work.

There is so much in the world, so many things to see and so many people to meet. What do you want to do with your life, because whatever it is, you will always be learning something different about, whether it be procedural memory or not is a different story, but the point is, without people willing to constantly learn more, the world would be stagnat and unmoving, we would not want move further in life or achieve anything more than what we already have.

I know as a teacher I'll never have a chance to stop learning, that is going to be my area of expertise, an experienced student.

I'll leave with a story about the first ever recorded orca whale taking down and eating a great white shark. Ya very uck #truestory! I was not there but saw a special on discovery YouTube channel about it.

It was 27 miles off the coast of LA and involved one orca whale from the LA orca whale POD and a great white shark. Orca whale watchers were on a regularly scheduled expedition when they noticed in a distance, an orca whale splashing around and as they got closer, then realized it was attacking, or at this point, killing- a great white shark.

The orca whale has never been seen or recorded in anyway as a killer of great white sharks. How is this possible!? Sad day for shark lovers. #sharkweek if you don't know what it is.

This rare case led to the investigation of the incident which resulted in these findings; the orca whale attacked and barrel rolled the great white shark, turning him upside down. Then after holding him still for a short period of time, he drowned the great white shark then allowing another orca whale to come feast on the liver (that was the main thing the orcas wanted).

So how was it able to take down the great white without even so much as a Real splash frenzy? Simple really, but how did the orca whale know to do the trick to the great white!? Sting rays And sharks come from the same ancestry and  whales constantly feed on them. Whales will turn upside down and blow bubbles towards the ocean floor which spooks th eating day into open water where the whale will bite onto a fin and swim up wards with it while it is upside down putting it into tonic immobilization and then eating it without being stung.

Tonic immbilization is much similar as to the idea moving chickens. When you are moving chickens, you hold them by both legs upside down in which they do not flip, they hold out their wings and remain still.

Sharks experience tonic immoblization just as sting rays. This occurs in certain creatures brains as defence mechanism. Playing dead would be the best way to classify and describe it. Unfortunately it makes the great white shark an easy target for he orca whale. The creature gets turned over and chemicals in the brain release endorphins which put the creature in a state of relaxation.

So when the great white is stopped from escaping, it is also held still. Unlike other sea life. great whites need to be moving through the water in order for their bodies to absorb the necessary components from the water into their bodies. So if they are not moving they drown, much of the same reason fin collecting in Asia is so controversial. The fishermen will catch sharks, cut off the fins and toss the body into the ocean where they bleed out and drown.

Back to the story though, so what though, a great white was taken down, champion, win, hashtag it idk. Well apparently the orca whales are careful and accultured killers. This means that they develop over long periods of time, a way of killing a certain type of prey, and it is learned and passed on through generations of pods. So the astonishing part about this first recorded kill is that this was unexpected and there has been no evidence regarding it ever before.

Something to think about.

Cheers!

Would you smell a fart to save your life.

Hydrogen sulfide a.k.a. Flactulance a.k.a. GTFO you smelly bugger.

Believe it or not studies have shown that Flactulance is hydrogen sulfide. :p now hydrogen sulfide, is produced by rbc (red blood cells) when they are under stress, see it's a normal thing, everything and everyone farts :p the reason rbc does this is because it protects the mitochondria.

Farts are dangerous in large quantities but! In tiny doses, can be proven to protect us or prevent dementia, cancer, arthritis, diabetes, and a couple other illnesses. Actually, ladies, it also prevents aging....another one of those placenta eating sort things maybe? Ew. To each there own.

Maybe jackass start Steve-o was on to something when he hooked up the gas mask to Preston's rear end :p

Regardless, it has forever been taboo in society to release these healthy gases in public, idk though, I mean with everything that can give you cancer, if I hear someone let it go, I'll respond, thanks bro. Likewise, I will no longer ask to be excuses for saving your life, I will respond with, you're welcome lol

So to all my friends and family who are dying on the car rides home and wasting all that healthy odour out of your car window. Your welcome.

Cheers!

Overlooked meat...and breasts

Over cooked or heavily cooked meat (meat cooked at 400 degrees) actually increase a woman's risk of developing breast cancer, if you are all silicon, I don't believe you have anything to worry about, I may be wrong, but certainly worth looking into.

Ugh the awkward moment the sump pump kicks out and floods a nicely finished basement.

I have heard in the past that burned foods are a Carcunegan, I'll look into it and post more about it :)

Remember, if you like well done or so cooked it looks like something that had sat on the grill for days...just remember, red is better :p

I guess this would be the time the vegan says, I win suckers! And we reply as Terri would, toodalo...she says that is all it is, toodalo, just means goodbye but I think it's a politeish way of saying "to hell with you" lol

Garlic.

Muhahaha

Garlic a.k.a bad breath maximized, #datekiller has always been something that as a child in Italian family, has been a favourite. I never understood what have good such a great taste and let's be reall it was cause if garlic , I mean there is a reason it is made into it's own salt my friend!

Not only is good for keeping vampires away and killing any who brave to attack you while you have it handy, but it also has some serious health benefits.

When I say serious obviously it needs to used on a regular basis in order for us to benefit from it. They say when you use raw garlic, use one or half a clove at least. If you can't handle raw garlic, use 1-2 cloves; the reason is because like most foods, after introducing them to unnatural elements, such as microwaves or immediate heat, they lose their beneficial properties.

Think of fruits and veggies as people. They have pores, they get hot and they sweat out their nutrients same as how we sweat out our toxins.

Garlic promotes a higher iron metabolism meaning it can help your cells move iron a lot faster. More iron rubbing trough the blood, means you can soon be calling yourself iron man lol just kidding. As you know iron is great for ladies and their monthly biological obligations. As a diabetic it is very important as well. Remember after eating a lot of garlic over large periods of time, you will need to oil your joints :p

Garlic especially raw has a great ability to decrease your cholesterol as well. In today's world that is very important, it is actually so important that it is being researched as a tool in clinical use.

Research has also shown garlic as having the ability to be used as an anti-inflammatory! Great so next time you find out you have an sti or your throat hurts, maybe swallow a teaspoon or rub it onto an inflamed area, I highly recommend you rub it in with a line or water base if you dare to experiment like that lol bleh oh god, how many people that try this, I dare not even think.

Garlic and it's most well known ability can help prevent ulcers and infection. I learned this when my ma asked me why I was putting the dogs garlic on a sand which I was making on e, it was jarred and very gross. Turns out yes, it is eatable and made for people but te garlic is what she uses to get rid of the dog's worms. I was shocked and still wondered why they would jar this for people, ugh so nasty. I been using Kirkland brand since then :p but apparently the best and most beneficial form to take garlic in this manner would be through powder....not salt! Salt is a sodium! The powder is legit, crushed garlic. The fresher the better as well.

Rememwber this next time you are cooking up a dish or fighting off a vampire. I wish I knew this earlier in life. But I'm glad I know now.

I have been putting garlic on sandwiches with whole wheat bread and other juicy vegetables to help remove or dilute the taste. I throw it in an all cooking. But I have been doing that wrong. It needs to be added near the tail end of the cooking so it retains most of it's healthy properties. I know some friends load up soup smoothies with it, granted they showered before hand so they stink all day :p but hell, for a healthier life, deodorant and cologne for the win.

Allium is the nutrient in garlic that gives it all these magical abilities.

If you have any easy to use recipes or ideas for garlic use, please comment!

CAUTION: avoid any farts by anyone who just ate garlic, smelling it will not passing you the health benefits, nor will it be pleasant, actually I'll let you know of there are adverse affects when you smell someone's fart lol plotwist; I'm responsible for the development of nose cancer in all my friends lol just kidding, relax.

Rough hands.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't already figured it out, working hard and with your hands leads to a build up of calicis and possibly bigger or stronger hands if you have been doing it for a long time.

I want to clear up some political corrections before I get started.

Yes men and women can work hard and with their hands.

Yes working with your hands can constitute anything you snowing your hands but for the purpose of this entry I'm talking about physically demanding labour, no pencil pushing :p and bite me if you are gonna be a whiner because I'm in teaching so yes this applies to me in certain ways and other ways not, so no, I'm not trying to talk down individuals who just don't work physically labourous jobs.

Anyways, so to get started. When you shake someone's hand, there are a series of judgments made immediately.

1. Grip, oh I'm sorry when I shake your hand does it hurt? then learn how to shake a frikin hand, tells a lot about who you are.

2. Looking in the eyes. Hey quit looking everywhere else but my eyes I want to see who it is I'm meeting...you hiding sonething or you just scared bro?

3. 2 shakes for a social meeting, 1 quick jolt of it's an on the job introduction. Times awastin and this job has deadline vs. The social handshake where that may be the only chance you get to talk to that person during the given time so you look them in the eye and state who you are etc.

These are three simple and common sense reasons why you need to work on your handshake if you haven't yet.

The handshake is just some background idea as to the bigger picture, rough hands. Who has rough hands? Well duh, people who use them for strenuous activity. Lawyers and doctors will not have overly disproportionate or rough hands because they do many other things, like using their minds.

It's no secret that rough hands don't feel the nicest, they have different ways to treat that but I am sure you won't unless it is a legit concern of yours. Ladies always compliment soft hands because they feel nice but psychologically, people are built to find certain things attractive even when they are unaware of it.

Since the dawn of primate and other beings who sole purpose on earth in their eyes is to reproduce and continue their kin, certain attributes were hard wired into our brains to be found attractive.

Men (straight ones obviously, unless the same thing applies differently between more feminine men and more masculin men, as it does between men and women)

1. Birth giving hips on ladies, meaning she has the ability to give birth without complication
2. Healthy weight, so her body is able to sustain life within it
3. Youth, the younger she is after being able to ovulate, the more prone she seems to pregnancy

Female
1. Healthy and strong (muscular) as well as rigid looking men...taller too...damn.
2. Ability to provide resource and take care of her and her future child

Rough hands promote some of these attributes and I feel like at one point or another people need to that "rough hands" feeling, not by others, but by having it themselves. It is a character building attribute.

I'll end with a story I'll never forget. My nonno told me he met a man who claimed he worked a lot, as a living he claimed he was a construction worker. It was the dead of winter. Minus forty something and this guy had to go to work in it, he worked the whole week and came to visit my nonno. When my nonno who is so well rounded in the areas of construction shook his hand. He said to the guy "my god, how are your hands so soft? You been working construction in the dead of winter all season long!?" The man made up some bs and long story short, he was lying the whole time, this man was a fraud and my nonno straight up called him out on it because of something as simple as a handshake.

Work on it and remember boys. Just cause she is cute, and dainty doesn't mean you can't give her a handshake, just be polite and don't break her hand, just let her know you are a hard working man and you got what you know she is looking for ;)

Cheers!

Problems with conceiving.

This is no where near my area of expertise. Nor is orbsomething I will be practicing anytime soon.

For couples struggling to have children or who want to ensure their chances of having a child and experience some difficulty oiling the gears, here is some useful and extremely helpful advice apparently.

A lot of couples who find it difficult to get prepared for couple exercises, tend to use lubricants, sometimes people use it just for the sake of using it. Well apparently lube can harm the spermatozoa, even if it doesn't contain spermicide. Yes for those of you unaware there is such thing as spermicide, read the packs of your domes and lubes ya goons.

I heard this on 102.1 the edge from Josie dye. OMG #crush!

Apparently using egg whites as a lube (yes it is actually sold in store for this purpose as well as for cooking), will be a satisfying lubricant for those hard to grease days in certain lady parts, and most lubes will suffocate or harm sperm where as thennaur proteins and nutrients in the egg white will endorse or encourage sperm to swim to their destination point. Think of egg whites to sperm as spinach to Popeye.

On a note, I just want it made clear that a lady who finds it difficult to grease her own pivot points is not persay finding it hard to be attracted to her man or anything like that. Some ladies just naturally find it more difficult to get there just like some ladies get there and lubricate a lot, never too much natural lube #tmi sorry. Just saying, squirrel is one of my favourite Pokemon :p

And guys don't bug the ladies and don't pressure them, makes it that much worse for them. Sometimes it could even be an anxiety or psychological discrepancy. It's been proven that even the slightest sort of discomfort can disrupt a ladies preparation process, they are just as delicate as they are beautiful boys, play nice.

Hopefully this didn't disturb you too much. Stay tuned :)

Cheers

For the ladies...and their men.

Apples are great tasting and apparently keep the doctor away. They come in different colours and range in taste :)

I love all apples, especially apple bottoms. Sorry, different type of apple. I am actually talking about the ones we eat :p

So this antioxidant in apples has been scientifically proven to increase a lady's lebido apparently. I wonder of thenand antioxidant is in apple pies <333333

OMG! Apple juice!? Is that a thing as well? Just offer up your lady friend some apple juice and let it take care of the rest!? Wait no, I got one better, some hot apple cider? Uhhhh second thought that would probably work best but if it's real cider it wouldn't be because of the antioxidants I believe :p

So next time your are out shopping, grab a cheap bag of nom nom apples and who knows, even if they don't work biologically, maybe they will work psychologically, sometimes a simple "hey babe," is all that needs to be said :)

As Matt Damon asks a ridiculous person in "good will hunting", "how do you like them apples?"

For the ladies...chest ish area concerns

Hello ladies!

Some interesting information about age, sleep and how you can postpone gravity's affect on the chest ish area.

For sake of viewers I am going to be using different yet appropriate names for the area in between a ladies ladies shoulders.

So that area just under your neck, as you have experienced or may be fearful of experiencing; gravity will eventually if it doesn't always take over...in natural circumstances at least, if you get silicon surgery well, I would think you need not worry :)

So how do you defy newton's law of gravity?

Constantly wear something holds them up id imagine, and I believe that is a social norm.

Maybe get piercings over the peak of the mountain range and then get chains that attach to ear piercings? Ouch...

Well, apparently we as humans and especially in today's lazy day age, we sleep...a lot. And most of us if not a lot of us sleep on the bellies, (guys and girls). So for the ladies, common sense and science have worked together to determine that sleeping on your back will decrease the rate of dropiness in your ballon's ability to float. Yes sleeping on your back regularly makes a difference.

Sleeping on yor side, would that make them start to point side ways then? :p

Maybe try hanging inside down for 30 mins everyday? Well maybe not that long, all the blood will rush to your head and you may get hurt.

I wonder if that is how it works for guys and their hotdogs?

Hmmmm

Well, cheers!

The dream.

Alwaysbhave a dream, or a goal; something to keep you going, something help you balance the good and the bad, the optimism and the pessimism :)

I'll never forget it, I was watching "flight of the phoenix" starring Dennis quade (I think his name is, the guy who played the father in "the day after tomorrow") and there was a scene two characters were talking about getting out of the desert and finding help. The idea was to build a plane out of the wreckage parts that would help then out. Hey were low on supplies and there were a few people there.

A character said "men need hope, they need to work towards something, without that, they are dead already. And if you can't give them hope or something to look forward to, just give them something to do."

This reminded me of another movie with Richard gere I believe, he played a high ranking and well respected officer who was sent to a military prison for insubordination, in spending his time there, (the actor who played tony soprano) the warden as punishment for malpractice in the prison, told the main character to move a bunch of big frikin rocks under the hot sun from one pile to another. Long story short,  the rocks came from the original prison and were marked by a stone mason who spent his time there.

The main character used this opportunity to give himself and the other prisoners there, a hobby. He did this because he saw how the men who were going to be there for a long time were acting violently against each other even though they all served in the same family, the military. The men bought into this hobby and longer story short, they found the outlet they needed and the companionship needed to make it through some horrible conditions in the prison. The wall they were building, served as a monument to men able to make a difference in their lives even though it meant nothing to anyone or anything else.

So from this observation, I came to the conclusion that in life it is true, we see it all the time in the education system, I'll take more about this in the teacher blogs. But in general, we see it all the time, on tv, on the streets, sometimes even with our own families.

After awhile of waiting or struggle, people stop caring because they feel like they are working towards nothing. I once heard from someone close to me say, ppfftttt what's a kind of credit anyway I'll be dead before I could ever pay off the mortgage. Like really? No! I mean, ya it's a worry free way of looking at it which is alright for your mentality depending on how you are under stress, but realistically, probably not a good way to think about it.

Life is too short. And that saying can be taken in a bad way or a good way. But the point is, well I guess it is all dependent on your aims and goals in life. But the point I'm trying to make is, we need the goals, we need the chance to see what it is we are doing take affect on our overall goal. The best way to do that is sometimes break down the big goals into smaller goals. More small dreams that build the bugger dream.

In my end game, I want about 6 acres of land, a small hobby farm, somewhere around Hamilton in the countryside. My house needs a pool, balcony, low maintenance, grass, pond, patio; wife kids, the whole nine yards. I need to be a teacher, and I want an inexpensive car that is good on gas. Maybe a show car for Sunday drives :p I want to be next ronni debt and be able to enjoy family bbqs. This is the big dream.

Where am I starting? Well, the job market for what I do is not so good at the moment. So I am making my way to where I can get helpful and meaningful experience that will help me land the job I want one day.

I'm going to start putting money away whole paying off my student loan, and hopefully in the future have the makings of the dream I have had since I was in highschool.

Always remember that when pwople no longer feel they have anything work towards they fall into a state if depression and life loses meaning, often times why people seem so hard done by when really, if they pull themselves together; they could be anywhere and do anything.  The only thing between you and the dream is one space.

Dream on as Aerosmith says.

Cheers!

The three rings of love.

1. The engagement ring, you both are in love and ready to start your life together.

2. The wedding ring, the Stmbol of the eternal spiritual bond between your two souls. You are now complete in the eyes of the story about love.

3. And the suffering. Ya I thought you would like that lol

Thanks for constantly laughs dad.

Cheers

Smile and nod.

Boys and girls.

Boys when it comes to girls, sometimes you are best to just smile and nod, "you don't think these pants make me look fat, right?"

Response: smile and nod

Girls when it comes to boys saying how they think friends don't like him cause he is not same style as them, smile and nod,  worst base scenario, you get him to quit walking around like he is the hottest tamoli around :p

I think most guys have thicker skin than girls in some ways, so I mean really. Girls don't be afraid to use the smile and nod, boys, use it with caution. During arguments would be best though, it can be used to prevent arguments but like I said use with caution.

For kids, "Johnny! Go clean your filthy frikin room!"

Response: *smile and nod*

For employees, "Johnny, you are such a slacker. This is the fifth time you showed up late to work, you are not even. Clean shaven! Don't do this  again or it will be the last time."

Response: *smile and nod*

It is probably thebworstbthihg to do to build communication and your self esteem but sometimes, it's best to avoid headaches.

Good communication would mean you are listening to what the other person is saying, you are thinking to yourself in a thesis-antithesis-synthesis model and then taking that thesis or anti thesis and working towards a synthesis. Now granted you are the more rational one as always! And the other person is not just listening, this is when smile and nod is important. Sometimes we need to take one for the team. Obviously of you need to do this more often than not, the relationship is unhealthy or the communication between you two need to be worked on.

Doing this too often will start to make you numb. It is normal to experience random outbursts and ridiculous moments of silliness. At least I feel like that is whathappened with me. It is important to have someone to take to the side and talk to about the way you feel. Otherwise bottling up, you will eventually burn out.

Smile and nod. Smile and nod boys, learned that technique from the penguins in Madagascar lol

Cheers!

Try it.

Why not?

Cause you are acared? Nervous? Worries about how you will look? Afraid of what might happen?

What would happen if you didn't?

Pick up a new activity, put yourself out there. Push your limits. These are things I have written about before, but I'm telling you, get the motivation, find it in yourself or in someone else to do whatever you need to do.

There is no shame in saying you have a personal crutch. Yes sometimes crush would be a motivation. See what i did there? :p

But really, as someone flying around in the air, in a squirrel body suit, Obvs it is no ideal, but you will do it if you have the right people around sometimes :) stay positive and strong :)

Find the strength and push your limits, if you fail or find no joy in it. Simply don't do it again. Life is too short to just keep hiding.

Cheers!

Be you.

Nothing attracts people more than the truth. Everyone wants it. Even whenbtheybcant handle it. That is a post all on it's own.

I just want to remind you that you are beautiful, no matter what say, no words can bring us down ooohhhhhh ooooouuhhh. Ya random song break out, get over it.

Hope you are well, and when I say you I mean, you not the person you are pretending to be when you are on a high pressure date or at work behind the counter of walmart. That is not you. In public and society, we seem that you. The reality of it, that is not you.

Random thought, imagine Gerard butler as the new punisher!??

Anyways, just saying, thatbisbbotnwhonypunare just like how when I walk and talk, normally I am not me, unless I like you or plan on spending time around you. Try hard but you won't know me. If you grab me at the bar to explain a story of some guy who started a physical altercation with you, clearly you don't know me because buddy, don't frikin touch me.

If you are someone who I am seeing and you are seeing other people; ew. Clearly you don't know me.

When we meet at the bar, I already decided whether or not you will learn who I am or of I'm just going to make buddies with you because I enjoy interesting conversations and smile and nod with most of what you say.

I dated a girl for almost a year, she didn't learn who I was till the very end. I'll never forget that day because it came clear to me, people don't always like who you are and when you try to hide it for a long time, they are bound to see the seams of your story. They may say you changed or that something is wrong with you, the reality of it, it's who you are, and there is nothing wrong with it. What I'm saying implies some heavy, and I mean heavy things. But the way it is, may not be the waiver want to see it, but that is how it is.

Like the joker and batman. An unstopable force meets and unmovable object. This is the reality  of human nature and free will. Many people try to justify the ridiculousness of people, saying this or that or whatever is in our genes. Honestly, we, at least I feel, are products of our environment, some of us good childhood and others not so good.

We are people, we are who we are, some of us not consider people because of defect or actions taken against people of the same species, but such things happen when we have power we have no control over, or understand fully for that matter.

People are who they are, society's norm is determined by the majority and currently majority believes in blah blah blah. Those who deviate are treated accordingly.

We need to embrace who we are, I'm not saying go out and murder someone or go steal a big screen tv or anything. People should be comfortable with themselves, and I'll tell you, of you are one of those individuals looking for the right person. Being yourself is the way you will find youngster ending because that is how you determine who can and can't handle your bs.

Embrace who you are and life becomes so much easier, less hiding meaning less energy and worry spent on disguises, figuratively speaking. And if you are someone who needs to hide themselves. Well, I wish you all the best and suggest you find at least one person that you can open up to. We all, good or bad, need someone. Anti-social beings may obviously find this harder but I mean, as a truebeliever I feel like there is always hope. Spiderman #15 from the maximum carnage series.

Is there really a life worth saving with Cletus kassidy when he will most likely spend the rest of his days in stasis and will not ever be able to be helped? The act of even just being willing to risk life and limb, spoke truly enough that yes, it is.

Don't let the venom inside of you get the best of your spiderman. Carnage is the character in us all that we find to be our flaws, but do we always have to kill and do we need to ponder is it nevessary to hide it.

It is different for everyone, I don't like being touched, I like skinny, including excessively skinny girls, I feel fat all the time and am hyper active sexually. I smoke and hate it. I love eating the best tasting foods and lots of then but avoid it like the plague by saying I'm full. I write this knowing that no one reads them. Really wish people would and wish that they would help someone cause I'm a conceded person when it comes to karma. I can at times say I'm trying to be altiristic, other times, I'm doing it just saying that I am altiristic.

I love my family and friends. Truth, never deny it or forget it. Oh! And have a good night.

Cheers.

Road trip.

On the road.

Been on the road a long time, never on this road for this purpose.

Been on the road but not with this entire crew.

Head to Peterborough, Ottawa. Then Montreal. Spending sometime with bro and then off to north bay. Home is Hamilton.

With ma, sis and cousin. Cousin's first rt but done a similar drive to tbay and Peterborough, Borden and Barrie with ma and sis before. Dad is at work.

Things you need on a road trip,

1. Money
2. Comfort, whether it is in the form of a big truck fully loaded and spaced or a tight car and your own blanket or pillow
3. Vehicle
4. GPS and map, in case gps glitches out
5. Communication
6. Knowledge of Tim Hortons around you :p
7. Your belongings designated for the trip
8. Knowledge of the place you are going to
9. Good music
10. Water.

There are Obvs other things, but most part, these are as basic as you can get without being too specific.

iPhones and other smartphones normally knock a bunch of things off this list, like pillow, blanket, etc. kidding Obvs, but check out the new blanket and pillow comfort app being brought to you by apple. Lol kidding Obvs...silly person.

Visa card that gets you points is so clutch! Just be sure to pay that off.

Ma likes to use higher end hotels soooo yap pints and member rewards to the max. She is not as for hard Tim's As dad and I are but meh. Blue collar canadian coffee for the win.

Got my bags packed, one is clothes and what not, the other is novelty. So bday present for bro and sis, iPad, chargers, etc.

I usually try to blog or journal write on the road while talking or joking with whomever I'm with, nothing else to do, so might as well :p

That and daydreaming are two things I never feel like I have time for which is good and bad because I hammer things done usually for hours on end when I get to them.

Usually my alparebts  and I leave super late or super early in the day to arrive mid day or morning. Try to avoid late night drives unless you are a night owl.

I wishbinhadbbeen taking pics at every Tim Hortons I have been to cause in Ontario I have certainly cleared more than most people I would think :p

We road tripped to Texas, Thunder Bay, and I have gone to Duluth/lutsen with my buddies.

Hoping one day to hit up Texas and New Orleans trip with a good buddy of mine.

I want to make the final road trip for my buddies next end of their school year if possible, doubt it but would like to.

Wouldn't mind a road trip across South America at some point either with a friend or two. Che Guevara did this before becoming the man we all remember him being.

Eventually want to backpack around Europe and Asia as well.

Step one. Learn mandarin...this may take. Awhile...

Your first tattoo.

I don't know how many people that told me they got their first tattoo on their younger years.

These younger versions of themselves got laid cause they had ink, meant something to them at a time. But there is also a reason people get cover ups my friend.

My little cousin is the same age I was when I was craving tats. 16, or 15, you just wanna be that billy badass mofo on the block that all the girls are like "DAMN!" And all the guys are like "Shit dawg. Where you come up with that?" Lol I know for me I had a meaning for every tat I wanted and it was so deep, reality of it was, they were just badass and I was giving meaning to them.

We don't know who we are at that young and we won't know for a long time. We don't know what lasts and what falls through in life. Everyone has their different opinion about the first tattoo, but  mine is simple, make it one that means something to you, that speaks to you...no frikin zodiac signs are not speaking to you. You are apeaking to them, they are an animal that soooooooo many people associate themselves with. Frik I might as well go get "team fish goat" on my forearm or something. The point I'm making here is. You know when you have found our first tat cause nothing will stop you.

I'll never forget it. I been talking about getting it and what it would be, this and that. Always talked about going but never did. Why? Simple. I was not as motivated to get it, cause it was not something I really wanted. Months later, I get home from school. I'm reading my comics and online looking up marvel pics, BAM! There it is. It had been in front of me the whole time but I saw it and wondered why they didn't put it on the comics anymore...the spiderman face stamp in the bottom left corner of the comic. That's right now you get it, just as I did. I was not even thinking about the tats. It spoke to me. Marvel. You taught me so much and as a kid, you were something I always loved. No matter how ridiculed in was when I was a teenager or pre teen. Still play with toys? Loser. Screw you bud! Spiderman is and always will be someone that makes me think of my dad, batman- shit he was my dad for a Halloween! The power rangers were my siblings and the xmen were my best friends. Don't tell me I'm a kid for caring about something that gives me the hope, love and strength that we all need to make it through this life. Cause I mean, in the end when you are complaining about being lost and not having any idea of how to deal with this or that...I'll be at home during the apocalypse with my best friends and/or family playing a board game, watching something or maybe even playing yugioh, you spend your final moments in a panic; but me, no matter what, I always have something to help keep my spirit up.

If never read a comic or have it a chance, I suggest you start now, you never know when someone calls you up with unfair life event.

And yes I do believe I. Superheroes. I do know superheros and when they time comes, I hope I'm able to ascend just as elegantly as the ones I know.

To my friends and family. I love you, thanks for the inspiration, and to Stan Lee. Keep on making growing up fun for the kids, the parents and everyone in between.

Your first...

The first anything is always usually most important. First time, first tat, first love, first date. Everything, is as we see it a series of moments that we (usually more than not) want to never forget.

When we start somethihg we thoroughly enjoy, we like to remember that canonical day we learned how to...

It is always important to value that first time. Never forget that fist time and Whenever you are having your doubts remember that usually it was that first time that got you hooked in the first place. So instead of banging your head against the wall everyday in your office because you are a forester but instead of saving firsts, you are killing forests with all the bureaucratic paper work you need to do; figure it out, get back to that wonder and are that you had when you first started your program and you learned that you will be outside, climbing trees solving the foresters plight and what not.

As a teacher, I have seen, teachers that started off everyday, a new lesson, everyday, wonder and awe that baffled not only the students but the teacher themselves.

Go back to those days and figure out what happened, what led you astray and weary of the path you used to trek so proudly before?

Cheers!

Love.

Sappiest and longest post ever.

Ever been in love? Right! Who knows!? We don't unless we are in love. Not the kind of love that we feel for a person for a bit till something happens and that's that. No love is when you say, 5 years later, you still just want to be with that person, the hardest part about live is that it isn't true unless it is mutual.

Love has many shapes and forms, we never know it's real until it hAppens, and thatbisbwhybthebmost important thing to remember about love is remembering to love or care about a person like you never have before :)

When you get involved with someone and you are cautious or take lessons from a previous relationship, you are recreating that previous failed relationship, and thusly setting your new relationship up for disaster. I know it iS a grey area. We are supposed to learn from mistakes, and I will be the first to say I have made a lot do mistakes, one of the best things I have ever done though, just go into a relationship with a fresh slate. I have tried to be a bit cautious on new relationships in the past and the girl would always say, "well I'm not your ex, I wouldn't do that!" And it's true, I just needed to see it for myself and learn the hard way I guess. But ya honestly, all people need to learn to love, no one just loves. Regardless of what popular belief may be, there will always be someone out there for you, sure, there could be soulmates out there, that one person you click best with; that person that is the other half to the soul's true form #thestoryoflove but there will always be someone who can make you happy if uo let them. When you have your heart broken, don't be bitter, think of it as a chance to find out what you are really looking for in someone, or what you need to work on to make yourself everything you can be.

In contest to popular belief, someone's it is important to change ourselves for people. I mean, we shouldn't make it feel like work, because if we really like the person, we could make the change with no problem. I'm not saying superficial things or silly things like your favourite colour are things we should be changing, but if you are the mind of guy or girl who enjoys an ego boost by flirting with the opposite sex, maybe something To work on, granted some people say love is not jealous, but I mean my personal belief is, why waste your time trying to make others think you are sexy, you trying to make yourself attractive to attract the one you will forever care about, but if you truly have that person, why work for the approval of others? I have been on both ends of this and it sucks both ways cause you learn quickly, something's gotta give. And being single, you have a lot of time to reflect and learn from mistakes, don't regret but acknowledge, see next post for more on regrets :p

Every person, I don't care how bitter or pessimistic you are, every person has a yearning to belong, maybe not everyday of the week, but we are social creatures, look at tom hanks on castaway, thatbisbtotally feasible, Wilson is a shining example of people's yearning to fit in with society. The human psyche is much like an orca's pYche. Naturally social beings, our mammalian brains are aimilar on the sense that the social/emotional parts of the brain are a bit larger than the others.

Be open and aware, you never know when you will be taking a picture of someone for them on Halloween and then randomly running into them at a bar you never try to meet people at and end up on a coffee date with them that turned into dinner. #theonethatgotaway

Or even a girl from class that you run into and help study for a class that actually turned into short yet memorable fling that ended just cause fear that things were moving fast. #hoplessromantic

You never know when you will meet someone you didn't think you would end up engaged to because the first contact was extremely awkward for you, but two years later, you are engaged and thinking about kids, don't lie bro, I know you are, say what you will but she got you thinking! #congratulations

Or! Or of you meet someone who was moving away for school, and ya it's 3 hours or so away but you can't make it and it's such a commitment still in highschool after dating for only 6 months.   After being on and off for a bit, you end up living together and making it work through random meets and figuring of your future, you end up so far from home but starting a life with the person that you have been through hell and back with! #truelove

Or when you end up like jack and Jessie, I'm so calling you buggers out, of everyone I know, all the couples between the one above this paragraph and you, I have learned and seen so much that applies everywhere in life,  #proud #envious not of either of you but of what you were able to find with another person.

Stay positive folks and love like you never loved before, don't put the word of a pedostoool but don't throw it around, mean it and appreciate it.

Cheers!

C.B.
Over 25 years, through hell and back, sometimes I wonder how anyone could, but you are always there for each other, no matter what. Xoxoxo thanks mom and dad

Do not just look.

Do not just look. But see, see the forest for the trees.

Studies have been done, Asian cultures are much more aware of the grander picture than us in North America. Asian cultures have buildings that are not so uniform, and actually it is not just Asian cultures in particular but more collectivist cultures. These cultures encourage higher thinking as individuals apart of a community, breaking functional fixedness.

Collectivist culture is where individuals are moving through life to benefit the group rather than just themselves; this is defined through production into the economy, family orientation, etc.

Individualistic culture is defined by the phenomenon where people break from the community and move about life in such a way that they are trying to make something of themSelves for themselves.

Functional fixedness, this is when we only see an item as used for a specific task and nothing else when in reality, it could do many things! A chair for example, we sit in it right? Well say you are in the kitchen, you can't reach the cookie jar, and there is no step ladder? What to do? Leave? Ppsshhh ya right, you want that cookie! So you functional fixedness would be what stops you from realizing you are able to just climb the chair and obtain the jar. Mostly like motivation would be pretty high for something as gratifying as a cookie so the individual would move the chair and climb it.

A lot of people look and do not see, they miss out on so much or drop themselves into holes because they don't realize something happen around them important that they should be paying attention to.

This is not just a physical thing, this is just like when a guy likes a girl, they go on a date and she subtly leans in for a kiss and he gives that awkward, alright, well I'll talk to you later, peace! Or when a girl hangs out with a guy friend of hers who is constantly throwing himself at her and she honestly doesn't realize it.

When you look at a landscape filled with trees and nothing but their green tops what do you see? Nature, trees, a forest or, home, the beginning, the world as it should be, true progress, a history textbook in the most natural form?

When you look at metropolis, do you see the city of New York, the Statue of Liberty, an American state, buildings and lights, or do you see congestion, progress, concrete forests, and absolute beauty come sunset?

Something to think about, next time you are standing in that river watching the water break around your ankles and you feel the current between your chilled toes.

Don't just look, see.

Cheers!

C.B.

I am looking at a window, but I see the frost. Thought process, but it's summer and warm beneath us. Science, the more you know and experience.

Make the small things count.

"All the, small things. Something, something....say it ain't so! I will not go! Turn the lights off, carry me home, nah nah nah na na"

My little song intro, butchered song intro I mean :p

Hope your morning is going well, so! You are saying you have a garbage day, or rough life? Are you above ground? Are accessing this blog? Well if so, your life is actually not all that bad. You are living and seem to have access to resources to enrich your life that many others do not.

Be happy, don't worry things will get better, actually they already are my friend, you just need to open your eyes...next two topics to success :p

So, you have a 20 min walk to town? On your own? Not looking forward to it and can't drive? Well hey throw in some headphones and start moving, you feel better and you will see things around you. Don't just look at them, see them.

On this walk, you notice two puppies playing in a yard, cute little puppy dobers, (your opinion is childish, noted and forgotten, they are such awesome dogs!) you may even have your own but do you ever just notice something as you walk by, who knows what you will see in that moment of tranquility, that moment when you are a passing spirit to others and highs around you. You go unnoticed and see how things react without noticing they are being seen. Out lives are so determined by societal norms and survelience that is hard to find that moment in life when you can just see a natural action of someone or something.

It is similar to seeing a river run over the smooth tops of protruding rocks, it's beautiful, smooth, a shimmering blanket. When you step in it, you are now great the smoothness of that blanket, it is not acting in it's natural state, it is being interrupted by you.

Note that a moment of tranquility is just one of the many ways to make the small things count.

Making the small things count can be even just smiling when someone does you a kindness. On smiling, you are Acknowledging that someone has helped you out! You have acknowledged yourself and the other person that you enjoyed that kindness and appreciated it. Who knows maybe that person has been taken advantage of for so long that, your recognition made them feel better about themselves. As a teacher, you will see a lot of appreciation and recognition as well as not so many moments of appreciation, not because you are not appreciated but just because some folks do not think it's a big deal or just simply may be tied up with a more pressing matter.

When you come across something that strikes your attention, just stop, and appreciate that moment, return the favour. Whatever you need to do to
make that moment count. I suggest you do it because I mean, how are you to know when it may be the last moment worth saving in your life.

Cheers!

Picture of Costa Rican sunset in guanacaste

Don't worry, be happy.

Hey folks! Good morning!

It is good, don't tell me it is bad! You are awake are you not!? Ppfftttt you wish you didn't wake up? Why? Broken heart? Or just broke?

Money comes and goes, your health will get better, just smile more! Your heart will be healed with time, and if you don't think so, well you come find me, I'll make you better, promise! I kind of have this way about me, I like to have fun and even more so I enjoy trying to make people smile, show then things they have never seen before.

Anyways, why you worried? You know what tomorrow is? A chance for the world to end! (For those of you who are miserable) or a day for things to change for the better! (For those of you who may just have had a tougher day than usual).

What makes you happy...aside from oxytocin and endorphins? :p seeing people you care about, exercise (actually. It's science fool!) and if you don't like exercise maybe you enjoy puzzle and mental strain, try video games or something! All you need is a blank state, you clear your head and I guarentee you will feel better, of course I am keeping this pg 13 ish so I can't say tinder and pof are great ways to make yourself feeling better when you are down and I highly recommend you don't use those if you are down because a girl you are seeing or boy, are giving you a hard time, that may be a little bit of a negative reinforcement on the situation.

Bob Marley says it best, don't worry be happy, cause everything will be alright.

Is the glass half empty or half full? Optimism my friend, creates a positive aurora around you, that influences people more than you know. Of you promote happiness, then people are more likely to be happy around you. If people are happy around you, well the chances of something negative happening around you are a lot mess likely.

:)

R.I.P. Bob Marley,

Love, the whitest listener you have.

Ps. Frowning also creates more wrinkles ladies!

Don't be discouraged when erased.

I had just written a long and heavy hearted post about something, I am so mad I don't even want to say it. I was pretty happy with it, then I accidentally swished the screen on my iPhone. Great.

This happens all the time. Not just with blogs, but thank you letters, hand written greetings #lakeheadalumni #phonathonptoblems. These things happen, and are we really going to let that hard work just drift away? I mean granted, of what we were typing is not really all that important then it is not a big deal to just say screw it and move on. But! If we are saying something that as absolutely important, it is out human duty to share it with the other folks that may be struggling with the same things we are or have struggled with.

Just another public service announcement, brought to you by another frustrated writer :p

Cheers!

Cooking

Learn how to cook folks, in all seriousness!

If you can't take care of yourselves, how can you expect to take care of others! One of the most natural things people still do is eat, if you can't look yourself in the morning and say that only the strong will survive; problems.

Darwin believed evolution was survival of the fittest, granted technology has made it inexplicably much easier to live, even if you were not the fittest but realistically, you are contributing to the future gene pool.

And if you can cool for yourself, hopefully you can cook something more than kraft dinner or at least eat something more than that :p

Don't be afraid to experience cooking, it's not as bad as people think, and I believe that part of the reason people don't cook is because they are afraid of failing. Well, news for you! You don't ever fail at cooking, you just sometimes make food that is a little to crispy or turkey that is a little too dry, but you know what, it happens and there is nothing we can do about it, other then tryi again and get better! Honestly stay positive and keep at it.

One thing I learned from the movie National treasure, that was used from thomas Edison (maker of the lightbulb); it's not a bunch failed attempts, it's a bunch of ways of how not to do something.

For those who do not understand, Edison tried making the lightbulb 2000 different ways that all resulted on failure, someone said to him he failed 2000 times before figuring it out, and he replied no, I just came up with 2000 ways of how not to make a lightbulb.

Cheers!

Good luck and all the best folks!

follow this advice, i know you will, but I'd be damned if I didn't say it anyways :)
